User information
User Name
Your name is entered automatically when creating a new game and is used
to determine which color is displayed at the bottom of the board.
Last Name First
When enabled, names from your Contacts are entered as Last, First.
This is the standard format used in PGN files and chess databases.
This option should match how your own name is entered.

This is only used for Email Game (html) on the
Game Details screen.
Display options
Display Coordinates
Shows algebraic coordinates (a–h, 1–8) on the board.
Coordinates can be toggled using a two finger double tap gesture on the board.
Wooden Chess Board
Displays a wooden-style chess board when enabled.
Notation options
Long Notation
Uses long algebraic notation (for example, ♘g1–f3).
When disabled, standard algebraic notation is used (♘f3).
Figurine Notation
Uses chess figurines (♔ ♕ ♖ ♗ ♘ ♙) instead of letters (K Q R B N P)
in move notation.
Include Time
Includes the elapsed time between moves in printed scoresheets
and PGN files. The recorded time reflects when moves were entered,
which may differ from the actual clock time.
An example line is shown at the bottom of the screen to demonstrate how the current notation options will appear.
Compliance options
Move Validation
When enabled, Chess Score Pad checks for legal moves and positions
as moves are entered. When disabled, illegal moves may be recorded.
Note: USCF rules do not allow for Electronic Notation Devices (END) to provide such information. This should be disabled for tournament use.
