The Automatic Stack
CALC 1 uses an automatic stack to hold the value of the last 4 calculations or values entered in CHN, ALG or RPN Calculation Mode.
This image shows the the display with all 4 values of the stack. This can be set in the options or using the swipe up or down gesture.
You can display 1-4 lines of the stack, but you always have all 4 values available.
Entering Values into the Stack
Entering a new number or the result of a chain or algebraic calculation are displayed in the x register.
- The value that was previously in the x register is copied to the y register.
- The value that was previously in the y register is copied to the z register.
- The value that was previously in the z register is copied to the t register.
- The value that was previously in the t register is lost.
Manipulating the Stack
will exchange the x and y register values.
will roll the values down:
- The value that was previously in the x register is copied to the t register.
- The value that was previously in the y register is copied to the x register.
- The value that was previously in the z register is copied to the y register.
- The value that was previously in the t register is copied to the z register.
Using ROLL in CHN calculation mode will allow you to enter previous results into a calculation.
