Markup and Margin Examples

These examples use the MU, COST, PRICE and MAR keys on the Percentages Calculator

Any of the 4 values can be calculated based on 2 other values.

When markup or margin values are stored or calculated, the other value is set to 0. The calculation of cost or price will use the appropriate method for the non-zero value.

These keys use the CALC 1 Auto Sto feature.

Pressing shift then "C pct" will clear all of the percentage values to 0.

Margin Example

Value Keystrokes Display Description
100 COST 100 Stores the cost value
125 PRICE 125 Stores the price value.
  MAR 20 Calculates the margin value. Also sets markup to 0.

The History details will have a record of the calculations that you can view and share.

Calculates the % Margin
100.00 : The Cost.
125.00 : The Price.
20.00 : The % Margin.

25 MU 25 Stores the markup value. Also sets margin to 0.
